Care and Cleaning
LEATHER
Leather is a noble material of animal origin; each hide has its own characteristics in terms of texture, color, and density. Because it is an organic material, it must be treated with care. To keep your CRAAVE looking its best, we've outlined some necessary care tips.
CARE
- Be careful with sharp objects and rough surfaces. Leather doesn't peel like synthetic materials, but friction with rough surfaces can damage the surface layer, exposing the underlying layer.
- Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight or any source of extreme heat; heat can change its color and feel.
- Do not store leather pieces in plastic bags. Lack of ventilation can cause discoloration and mold. To store and transport your CRAAVE, keep them in our cotton bags, which allow for ventilation.
- Store your pieces in their CRAAVE boxes, if possible. This way, they will maintain their original shape and always look beautiful.
CLEANING
- Light stains can be removed with slightly damp cloths. To maintain uniform color, you should perform this procedure on the entire area. And don't forget, before applying the method, test it on an inconspicuous area of the piece.
- NEVER use cleaning fluids, detergents, oils, or alcohol. In case of stains or deep dirt, seek professional help from leather goods cleaning specialists.
